G'day again,

I've been following the works of chip foose from overhaulin' series for

quite a while now.

Here's another completed model which was inspired by his design.

This is a revell's 64' chevy fleetside, painted with black and brilliant

orange from tamiya. I lowered the ride heights and changed the wheels

to 23" Holli's from pegasus hobbies. Other addition is the engine

wires.

Let me know what you think and thanks for looking.

Regards

Krishna Iskandana

Howdy folks,

This is my first attempt at building a Jap car and first go at a Japanese kit. It's curbside so it'll be a straight forward build but I do have a wild paint scheme in mind.

This shot shows the molded in detail.

All the bits.

Completed chassis.

Thanks for looking, more to come soon.

Hi All,

I started building these 2 cars prior to joining this site. Only ever built 2 cars before these and I have been trying hard to do a good job this time. Been getting some great tips from this site.

This weekend I am planning to start painting the bodies and windows - I am feeling quite nervous about this as the process is critical to creating a good looking model. This part of the building has been my weakness. The 2 models I have already built look lowsy compared to what I see ...

This project is currently stalled as I am struggling with the headers and a few other details (tail lights, rear window, grill) but thought it was worth while sharing.

It started out as the Hemi under glass Barracuda

After some cutting and shutting got to this

For the chassis I used a combination of the Revell 69 Dodge Dart and one of the Revell Pro mod rear ends

Used the Darts engine bay as well

and this is where I am currently at with it

Hi All,

This is my latest build. It is quite a big model for 1:24 scale and the parts are fitting together perfectly so far.

This week I have spent 4 evenings on this and have managed to put together the engine.

I am not planning on rushing this (haven't got much time anyhow) as I have 2 other models to complete.

Has anyone built this one and can offer some advise?

Planning on building the Italeri Series 3 Landrover. Going with a basic green and white top (probably go with no top for the time being cause the roof seems to need some minor adjustment to fit properly. I'm only really doing this to get me back into the hobby as a practise. Just wondering if i should paint the chassis though.. It's already matte black plastic which would probably work well but i'm thinking maybe a semi gloss to give it the powder-coated effect. What do you guys think?

I originally bought this kit in the late 80's after seeing an ancient black and white movie where a 49 Ford was used by moonshiners , it had a few extra tricks (rear bumper would fall off when the police used a grabber on it among other things) and I thought it would be a cool idea for a model . I never got around to doing it but found it again recently and saw a hint of something in the box art and thought a dodgy custom would be good . Ive just started what will most likely be a theme for me for a while and that is some of Chip Foose's cars, and the first of being the Terracuda! Ive started on the engine, wheels and started trying to make a mould for the seats. This is just a quick pic of the body and mock wheels! Thanx guys!

Its the recently released Revell 5 window (for those that couldn't tell ), just chopped, plus a set of TPB wheels, and a tunnel ram out of my spares box. I intend to add a Hilborn scoop and wiring to finish off the Hemi.

This is a Land Rover 109'' lwb from Italeri (can anyone please tell me

is it series 2 or 3?). I got lucky to find this kit because I always

wanted to have a camel trophy theme among my completed models. The

model was sprayed with tamiya camel yellow and I made the decals

myself, but the rest of them is oob.

Let me know what you think and thanks for looking.
